What is SB Buys?
SB Buys is a website dedicated to bringing you Santa Barbara's most amazing deals.

How does SB Buys work?
You see one of our amazing daily deals, and you have to have it, so you click the "Buy" button. Your credit card is not charged yet. For the "Buy" to happen, a minimum number of people must also buy it. To help the deal reach the required number of buyers, you share the deal generously with your friends (You don't have to share it, but its a nice thing to do). Once the minimum number of buyers is reached, the "Buy" is on, and your credit is now charged. About 24 hours after the deal is closed, your voucher will be ready for you to print.

What if I didn’t receive an email regarding the status of the deal that I bought?
Check your spam box…maybe it ended up there.  And, make sure to add us to your Safe Senders list. Or, click on "My Account" to make sure you entered your email address correctly.

How do I buy a deal?
Click the "Buy" button, but for the "Buy" to happen, a minimum number of people must also buy it, so make sure you share it.

Is buying through SB Buys safe?
Yes. Your information is transmitted using SSL with 128 bit encryption.

Do I have to share?
No, but sharing is a nice thing to do. Also, if the minimum number of required buyers is not reached, then the deal is canceled. So, please share.

What happens if not enough people buy?
If the buy of the day does not reach the minimum number of required buyers before the countdown timer expires, the deal is canceled. Your credit card will not be charged, and you will not get the deal. That's why its important to share the buy of the day with your friends.

I bought the deal of the day, the required number of people also bought the deal, now what?
The deal is on, and your credit card is charged. About 24 hours after the deal is closed, we will send you an email with instructions on how to print your deal voucher and how to use it.

When is my credit card charged?
Your credit card is only charged when you buy the deal of the day AND the minimum number of required buyers is reached. If BOTH of these things happen, then your credit card is charged.

What is a voucher?
A voucher is what you present to the merchant to redeem the amazing deal you found on SB Buys.

Where is my voucher?
About 24 hours after the deal is closed, we will send you an email with instructions on how to print your deal voucher and how to use it. You can find the link to print your voucher in the "My Account" section. Go to the top of the page, click on "My Account," and then print your voucher.

Do I have to use my voucher on the same day that I buy it?
No. You do not have to use your voucher the same day that you buy it. Most vouchers do have an expiration date though, which is typically at least 6 months from the date of purchase.

How long does my voucher last?
Your voucher will usually have an expiration date on it, which is typically at least 6 months from the date of purchase.

What happens if my voucher expires?
We follow the laws pertaining to gift certificates in your state.  Typically, after a voucher expires, you can still redeem it for the value you paid for it. But, it does lose its promotional value.

Can I combine my voucher with other deals, offers, coupons, etc?
No.  Unless otherwise stated, vouchers cannot be combined with other deals, offers, coupons, etc.

Can I use my voucher more than one time? Is my voucher good for multiple visits?
Unless the voucher states otherwise, your voucher is only good for one visit.  The entire value of the voucher must be used at one time.  You will not receive change or credit.
